Norse Gods? Do we need more info?…

Imagine if you had never seen winter before,no thunder etc nobody had told you about the four seasons, so of course when the winter “ice-age” came people panicked because they did not know how long this season would last and if there were enough food for all the people.

The Norse Gods is simply the forces within nature which were created through fear of the unknown but also to warn the future generations about the spirits/forces within nature, some were seen as necessary but feared at the same time.
This is why they made sacrifices to please the Gods each year because they believed it worked and it did because all seasons comes every year.

It’s also a good way to learn youth to give back to nature and respect it.

Back then they did not think like we did and did not have the same knowledge, they had a completely different and better mindset of course.

That being said they developed better knowledge and understanding of nature and it’s forces/gods back then and knew how to respect and treat mother earth.

I personally think that they did not fear the gods like in a religion and is not to be confused with any religion.
Superstition is a more suiting word which probably ruled in the very beginning.

Talking about the gods in Norse mythology is like deciphering a belief system they used to learn their kids to treat and respect mother earth and her forces.
To put it simply : Those who claim that our ancestors were god-fearing religious people are wrong I’d say and after reading several books on the subject I just had to write this.
How many books do we need on the subject btw? It’s not that hard to understand if explained properly.

They spoke, thought, behaved in a totally different way back then so it’s important to keep in mind while studying Norse Mythology to keep in mind that this was the first “documented” happenings on earth and that most things were written as myths when language became a thing.
Before that they had only word of mouth and possibly signs/runes to pass on the message.
So they were not dumb people like some say, they invented our language, traditions and the only way we know how to stick to reality : Runes and later the alphabet.

If you think about it they were not really that primitive compared to us today, they were harder, smarter in the “right” ways.

Today most people don’t know how to hunt anything so I dare you to learn the old ways because they will and should be useful once again.
To answer the title question, no we don’t need more info, we need to decipher it ourselves and learn how easy life can be if you follow some guidelines.
I could go on but I will keep it short because that’s all you need.
Mark my words and good luck!

The Final Rebirth (Our Future)

Gods only exist as long as their people” and that is why it is so important that we preserve the old european heritage, culture and traditions that was taken from us by force and highly edited and abused for their own benefits by those who invented a to us unknown and alien abrahamic religion.

Everything that was originally pagan traditions and lifestyle morphed slowly into Christian traditions thanks to this because they were left with no choice but these days we are slowly morphing back to paganism because our old traditions and way of life feel more right to us natives and makes more sense than religion in itself.

Paganism is nothing superstitious and is mainly written in metaphors to give us a deeper understanding of Mother Earth, rebirth, traditions our way of living and more. I personally think many confuses paganism with magic and more supernatural things is because they take what they read too literally. In example if someone read a book about witches

cooking their magic potion using bat wings and all sorts of stuff, it’s mostly only codes for ingredients, not bat wings for instance. The pagans back then did it to preserve and carry on their traditions in a secret way. The same also goes for all traditions etc, etc.

Those who forced Christianity upon us also created money which is known as the blood of the world and it causes greed witch will be our downfall. Trading goods is a much better alternative.

What a coincidence how money and a God is created at the same time and forced upon large areas on earth more or less and still some people see us as the enemy?

Those who are best suited to carry on our legacy is Native Europeans because we are grounded here, know the resources , naturally adapt to the climate and more things you can study about for yourself.

It’s still not to late to preserve our culture because as I and others already have written, paganism and it’s traditions and lifestyle never really disappeared , it just morphed into a religion but most people still practiced their old believes secretly and thus our culture was brought along with us from birth trough fairytales, christmas, easter, halloween et cetera who originally all are pagan festivities and celebrations but with different names than most of us use now.

Even today we celebrate most pagan holidays , many of us just don’t know about it.

Christianity changed the original names for our holidays, the symbolism of our myths and traditions and incorporated Christianity into our children´s fairytales but if you read those myths and fairytales once more you will hopefully see how they have (mis)placed Christianity into it all. It just does not make sense.

I will not write so much more about this since it’s already well explained in several books I will add here later.

Although I have to mention that there is a huge difference in teaching youth and make them understand subjects such as nature, body, birth, rebirth and other wisdom through myths, fairytales, traditions and life experience is much better than scaring children with false promises and religions that no one really can verify´or actually believe in.

There are still people struggling with mental issues because of fanatic religious people which are the “worst in my opinion. It’s not strange when one think about how these children were raised with guilt for doing thing that are completely normal human behavior.

I have written more about this before and will publish it eventually.

As long as there are people left who remember or know about our heritage it will live on but it’s important to pass the information on and enlighten your own and/or those who are willing to listen. It’s a waste of time and useless trying to force anyone and besides we would be no better than those who forced their abrahamic views upon us.

This is why our children and our kin is so important for the European legacy and our future as a race. There is probably a good and natural reason why we were divided into separate races in different parts of the world and eventually formed tribes.

A tribe is easier to control than an entire country and it’s a more close approach to live in harmony with the people you know and trust. If anything happens or are up for discussion the entire tribe is around and it’s also easier to bring up kids in such an environment.

Schools would not be needed as it is today because the kids will automatically learn skills from their parents, neighbors or friends via work and homeschooling.

There would not be any unemployed people in an ideal future where farmers, fishermen, hunter gatherers and everyone else living in peace and harmony, kids would learn all the basic skills needed from parents, neighbors or tribe. It would also be easier to control that they get the right information and education while growing up.

Everyone will be a part of the wheel that keeps turning and I think that would contribute to better mental health and solve a lot of todays illness. To be able to live this way we will have to change many things and personally I would believe that most of us should stick to our native places because we will be more resourceful there. As for me personally, I’m not fit to work long days in 35 celsius for instance. I prefer a colder climate and I like all four seasons we have here as they all have their own charm.

Everyone is also able to work for a few hours now and then even if they’re not capable of working a full day they still contribute to the common good and will also feel better. Some would say a harder life while I say a much easier and more complete lifestyle overall

Things will be more spread out over the population of the tribe so none will sit with everything and vice versa. We don’t want greed to ruin the world once more.

The 7 Weekdays in Paganism

A beginning of my writing of the weekdays in Norse mythologyStill Under Construction

Friday is the fifth day of the week from Monday. In Norse, the word had a number of variants were the seduction reproduces the goddess names Frigg (Odin’s wife) and Freyja (Frøya). (friggjardagr, freyju-, frjá-, fra-, frea-, fre-, freia-, freigia-, freo-, fri-, fræ-),

Her symbols are lions and strawberries. In Nordic tradition, Freyja’s name means ‘lady’. Generally speaking, it is Her domain to care for matters of the heart. In mythology, Freyja is stunningly beautiful, a mistress to the gods and She appears driving a chariot pulled by cats.

Happy þváttdagr In Norse, the day was called þváttdagr (‘washing day’, ie ‘washing day’) and Saturday (‘washing day, bathing day’), av laug (‘bath, bathing water, washing water’). Also known as Lauradagr. In Proto-Celtic : *ɸlārom , *lọr- Definition : Floor

Sunnadagr is the first day of week so the logical explanation is as I see it that Laurdagr was the last day so they washed in order to make it look good next week and hail the Sun.

The names of the Romans on weekdays: Lake: Solis dies (day of the sun) Ma: Lunae dies (moon day) Ti: Martis dies (Mars’ day) On: Marcurii dies (Mercury day) To: Jovis dies (Jupiter’s day) Fr: Verenis dies (Venus’ day) Sat: Saturni dies (Saturn’s day)

The ancient Romans had the same 7-day week as the Vikings. The days were named after wandering stars aka gods. Monday, for example, was called dies lunae – or Monday. This is reflected in the Latin languages, e.g. French, to this day. Monday – Monday – Monday.

Tuesday – Tuesday – March’s day (Taurus day in Norse) Wednesday – Wednesday – Mercury Day (Odin’s Day in Norse) Thursday – Thursday – Jupiter’s day (Thursday in Norse) Friday – Friday – Venus’ day (Frøyas or Frigg’s day) Samedi – Saturday – Saturday’s day (here the Norse differs;

Saturday comes from Saturday – (washing day)

The etymology of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, are from the Nordic Gods, but Saturday was an exception named after Roman God Saturnus.

n Norse, the day was called sunnudagr, til sunna, sol, after Anglo – Saxon sunnandæg or Old Saxon sunnondag, and was in the old opinion the first day of the week. The horses Arvaker and Alsvinn pulled the sun chariot. It is predicted that Sol will be killed by a terrible wolf

Fenrisulven) during Ragnarok. Before that time, she will give birth to a daughter who will continue her mother’s journey across the firmament. In The Older Edda, Sol is described as the wife of Glen (Norse Glenr, “the cloud opening”). As a proper name, Sol appears throughout Norse literature. Researchers of Norse mythology have put forward theories about the evolution of the goddess from a possible root in the Nordic Bronze Age and Urindo-European background.

May Queen Traditions

First a local myth about the opening of the season of flowers and fruit formerly was celebrated throughout Europe, and still is..
The celebration marks that WE leave Winter behind to welcome Summer, fruits & flowers and as a symbolic thing it’s a tradition to

jump over the bonfire and make a wish/get rid of the darkness, to be

May Queen “girl or young woman crowned with flowers and honoured as queen at the gamos held on May Day.
The witches blow out the candles and arrange a dance at a special mountain because it’s often foggy..

Witches dancing & celebrating somewhere secret.

around it so they are hidden like they want to be when they move like shadows around the fire and under the moon this tradition is still present, but it has always been a mysticism to this aknce since I was a kid when I was told about these witches and the myth about capturing..

..The May Queen and marry her as a competition for the men who has to run after her.

She goes first then he moves quicky trying to find her as my uncle told decades ago.

I’m pretty sure he added some extra to make it exciting for us and we were indeed.

The May Queen Crowned with flowers.

There are various ways to celebrate this and some details may change from place to place but the essence is the same.

In some Pagan belief systems, typically those that follow

a Wiccan tradition, the focus of Beltane is on the battle between

the May Queen and the Queen of Winter. The May Queen is Flora, the goddess of the flowers, and the young blushing bride, and the princess of the Fae. She is Lady Marian in the Robin Hood tales, and Guinevere in the Arthurian cycle. She is the embodiment of the Maiden, of mother earth in all of her fertile glory.

Locally it’s a tradition that the kids take a bath the 1st of May to welcome the Summer.

I was also told an Irish tradition, On May first women get up at dawn and wash their faces in the dew was supposed to keep your skin beautiful. Maybe there is a connection with us bathing 1st of May?

It’s unsure if some traditions are just a family tradition or spread wider. If you know anything I could add. Feel free to contact me.

Purpose In Life

‪I think the most important thing in life is to make it a journey of your own choices and dreams. Make sure you get your own stuff done and help yourself and your beloved ones.

You’ll never be happy pursuing something that is not you or wondering why you are here.‬

These questions will be answered eventually if you live in harmony with yourself and nature. Trying to figure out why you are here and what happens when you die is not really worth wasting your life with unless it’s a interesting thing to yourself.

The day when you know your time is over is the day your mind will start spinning and ask questions. Did I do anything wrong, did I forget about anything, I should have done that.

This is why Pagans have reincarnation rituals which I’ll explain to you later.

Most of The Pagan celebrations is about rebirth although it’s not all about life after death and so on.

It’s about saying goodbye to all the darkness that consumes us from time to time. The rituals celebrated by many Pagans is in the forest because I assume that most of us find it easier to reconnect with ourselves and loved ones. Starting over with clean sheets and said goodbye to all dark forces.

Pagans know that the magic lies in this world and how it’s built , how every little thing connects together. When realising how small we are compared nature and it’s mysteries, forces and elements.

The magic is created within the moment of it all. You are the creator of your magic and if you succeed in what you are trying to tell/show or illustrate, others will see what you see. If you strongly believe in what you do you will eventually create an illusion together with someone close.

You will build castles in the sky and when you do so you also realise that there is no abrahamic religion or other dark forces. YOU are God! You are the creator of it all, even though you don’t know it.

You attract what you reflect in other peoples. Your worst nightmares and fears are created by yourself because you co consciously or unconsciously create the “fear” or whatever you have.

The more you conquer the more you will rise. Don’t forget to step down from the horse before you get to high up there.

As I wrote about 15 years ago.

Life is just a silly little game and it’s your call what to do next. Do not wait for outside forces to help, wait for signs.. Remember that YOU are God!

Erling Skjalgsson – Rygenes Konge

I’ll start reading a book abkout Erling Skjalgsson – Rygenes Konge who were one of the late kings in Norway before the (Christians) arrived.
He later fought Olav Haraldsson, later known as “Olav The Holy One” in the battle of Soknasundet year 1028.

The picture shows Astrid with Olav Tryggvason on her arm, escaping from the father in fear of being killed by Harald Graafjells men who recently killed her husband Tryggve Olavson.
She gave birth on an islet, later she had to escape from her home and seek shelter at Obrestad.

Relationship

Expecting a “problem free” long lasting relationship is like waiting for a utopia with a world full of women & dancing bananas.

If both sides just sit & think that the problems will go over after a while, they are wrong.

It will build up more & more, cut the weed by it’s root’s

same thing if you only sit at home or elsewhere waiting for a partner to show up…

Where will you meet this partner if you never try?

The older you get the more picky you get, so what happens when you’re ready, but everyone is taken?

I’m not saying you should walk around….

getting laid with everyone, but going out once in a while doesen’t hurt!
Let yourself be known but not avaliable to everyone.

I’ve always been somehwhat oldfashioned that way.
A relationship is much more than just sex, there is a balance you find with the one you’ll truly love..

Marie Catchet – Childbirth

Childbirth is a difficult & dangerous step, but each time your daughter asks you about it, you must answer that it will be fine, that we are made for it. The way the mother talks about childbirth is decisive in the vision of childbirth of the daughter, & therefore of its outcome.

About Childbirth, I recommend the books by Michel Odent (many in English), and this film (which is not perfect at all, but interesting):
